I shared this blog on my facebook page and my friend Dr. Antony commented on it. This is his comment: "If the third fingers are not bent, then the ring finger can also be separated". Only then I got a insight into this and I posted that as a reply to his comment. The third finger represents the person. Unless he/she is bent, that is, he/she gives up his/her ego, self-centredness, etc and is bent by God the husband and wife cannot stay together. Secondly, within marriage there is always an expectation that the spouse should change, not realizing that he/she should also change. In this case, the third finger is the self and the fourth finger is the spouse. If the person is the husband he needs to bend his ego and just not point at his wife to do so and vice versa. What a beautiful truth. May God enable all husbands and wives to stay together and faithful to each other!
